This air spring type is a rubber metal design with bolted lower plate. The air chamber consists of special rubber material reinforced through additional steel rings. The rubber has a very high elasticity combined with very good oil resistance and very good anti-aging characteristics. The air supply is via car tyre valve.
The natural frequency of this component is between 3 Hz and 5 Hz. In case of airless mode the natural frequency is appr. 10 Hz.
