Founded 1890 in Fellbach (Württemberg) as a lock manufacturer,
AMF has become
a leader in innovative workholding techniques. Our goal is to
provide our customers with a comprehensive range of mechanical,
pneumatic, hydraulic clamping and modular fixturing systems.
In addition we offer locks for doors and gates, hex-keys and
wrenches and special custom- made spanners.
The high quality standards demanded by our customers are
met through our exceptional in-house machining facility. AMF
stands for experience: our first lock catalogue was introduced
into the market in 1907, we have made handtools since the 1920's
and our clamping elements catalogues appeared in many foreign
languages almost 50 years ago.

As the big challenge for today's managements, the concept
of "team-working" adds a new dimension. AMF
took this up by restructuring the entire company around the
principles of modern team organisation. This we achieved by
incorporating all direct and indirect departments into product-orientated
teams. This has led to a high personal responsibility: improved
flexibility and efficiency, shorter times in quoting and in
production is one of many results - all to the benefit of
our customers.

On 08/28/1997 we received the certificate DIN
EN ISO 9001 guaranteeing international standards and continuous
improvement of AMF's
product quality, as well as our organisation and procedures.
The recertification was sucessfully done on 08/06/2001.
